New Member Orientation

 

To complete the requirements for your REALTOR® membership with WMAR, you must attend New Member Orientation and submit a copy of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics or a current letter of Good Standing from your Primary Association, if appling for a Secondary Membership.

New Member Orientation is your first step in understanding all that WMAR has to offer and how you can best utilize the many tools at your disposal.

During the application process you will be registered for the next available New Member Orientation. You may reschedule for another date within your 60 day period if unable to attend the first given date. If you fail to attend New Member Orientation during your 60 day period, your MLS account will be suspended until this membership requirement is fulfilled.

 

REALTOR® Code of Ethics Requirement

All new Primary members must complete the New Member Code of Ethics online course. You will need to Complete your Code of Ethics training with nar.realtor prior to New Member Orientation.

To register:

  • Go to nar.realtor
  • Click on Education, then click on Code of Ethics training
  • Once on this page, click on New Member and either enter your first and last name or your NRDS ID.

This course is free through NAR, available 24/7, and will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours to complete. There is a Pass/Fail test at the end of the course. Once completed, please send your certificate to wmar@wmaronline.com.
